Peat in Horticulture

Proceedings of the Peat in Horticulture conferences of the IPS. The Peat in Horticulture section in the IPS Peatland Shop offers the proceedings from its dedicated “Peat in Horticulture” conferences. These publications span several decades — from findings in the 1970s through to 2019 — addressing key topics such as the development of peat use, growing-media additives, quality and environmental challenges, and the role of alternatives. The proceedings reflect how the understanding and management of peat in horticultural contexts have evolved over time.
